I got the new issue of Classic Rock which had about 40 pages devoted to the wonders of Led Zeppelin --- although it did mean there were a couple of photos of Lori Maddox/Sabel Starr and a brief quote from Cherie Currie saying how Robert Plant helped get The Runaways signed and what a lovely guy he was. Just found out today that apparently Sandy West, the drummer from The Runaways died a few days ago aged 47. I'd never really thought of her until I watched that documentary about The Runaways, Edgeplay and saw her being interviewed. I finally got the DVD of Edgeplay the documentary about the Runaways by one of their former bass players. I have to say I really enjoyed it & found it quite interesting. What could have been a huge drawback of not having Joan Jett interviewed at all I think works out OK because it means you get to hear from the other girls like Jackie Fox and ( Read more... )
